In July 2024, FOMH members Fatima Fazal, Laila Nusrat (Bitto), and Fatima Malik travelled to Washington DC to represent FOMH at the APPNA conference. They engaged in discussions about FOMH’s long-term vision and strategy, emphasising sustainability and maximising patient impact.

Our team held meetings with several American-Pakistani doctors and KEMCAANA’s executive committee, exchanging innovative ideas and exploring potential collaborations. At the KEMU alumni dinner, our president Fatima Fazal delivered an inspiring address to the alumni of KE, highlighting FOMH’s mission and achievements.

Overall, it was a highly successful trip, strengthening our network and paving the way for future initiatives
