At Friends of Mayo Hospital, we are driven by one simple belief: every person deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their socio-economic background. Since 2014, we’ve been working to restore the infrastructure of Mayo Hospital, with the generous support of private individual donors. Our work has just begun. With no major restoration efforts since its inception in 1871, many wards have not seen significant upgrades, leaving much room for improvement. Our goal is to upgrade every single ward, ensuring that every patient is treated in a clean, hygienic, and dignified environment. As we look to the future, we invite you to join us on this journey. Maxillofacial Ward

We are excited to announce that we are raising funds for the renovation of the Maxillofacial Ward! We extend our gratitude to Mr. Kalim of Kalim Siddiqui & Associates for volunteering his and his team’s services as an architect for this project. The Maxillofacial Ward specializes in treating injuries and conditions related to the face, jaw, and mouth.

Thoracic Surgery Ward

The Thoracic Surgery Department at Mayo Hospital, Lahore, is a critical unit providing 24/7 emergency and elective care to thousands of patients. Established in 1959 and converted into a teaching unit in 1995, it is the first teaching thoracic surgery department in Punjab, offering specialized procedures such as lung resections, bronchoscopies, trachea repair, and mediastinal surgery.
